Facilitated by Annie Ridgway & Anita Cassidy-BowmanDrawing inspiration from Celtic reverence for the natural world, African traditions of rhythm and community, and the ancient sacred sound practices of India, we journey through three distinct ceremonial landscapes, while weaving the healing power of sound through every stage.
This is not about adopting traditions that are not our own but respectfully exploring universal threads that have existed across cultures for millennia: rhythm, voice, vibration, fire, earth, prayer, community, silence and intention.
Throughout the retreat, crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, medicine drums, harp, voice, flutes, chimes and other world instruments create the sonic landscape for a journey from grounding and release into expression, connection and finally transcendence.

Our Sanctuary for the Retreat - Sherwood Farm
Nestled within the peaceful NSW hinterland near the Coffs Coast, Sherwood Farm is a beautiful private country estate surrounded by rolling hills, open paddocks, towering gums and expansive natural bushland. Set across 500 acres, it offers that rare feeling of truly stepping away from the outside world into a landscape where there is space to breathe, soften and reconnect.
From birdsong at sunrise to golden evening skies and nights gathered beneath the stars, Sherwood Farm feels wonderfully attuned to the rhythms of nature. Walking trails meander through the property, while peaceful dams, secluded picnic places and wide-open spaces invite quiet reflection and moments of stillness. Deer, cows, ponies, sheep and native wildlife share the landscape, adding to the gentle sense of being immersed in the natural world.
At the heart of the property is the beautiful Pavilion, with generous indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, expansive views across the surrounding countryside, a swimming pool, spa, fire pit and spacious decks. Charming cottages are dotted throughout the estate, allowing guests to retreat into their own peaceful space while remaining connected to the wider retreat community.
